About
What?
en:volve is a team of youth workers who work for Sheffield Wildlife Trust to help you get out and enjoy and make a difference to your local environment.
We can help you develop your own ideas and turn them into inspiring opportunities to make a positive contribution to your community.
Through volunteering or joining one of our projects, it can open more doors, you can receive training and learn new skills and achieve accreditation or just join in to meet new people and have fun!
Where?
We work with groups across Sheffield and Rotherham in both urban and rural areas; we’re not just stuck out on our nature reserves, we can work in your local park, woodland, your school grounds, or any patch of green space.
If you’re aged from 8 to 25 we can find a project that will suit you.
Doing what?
Most projects focus on a specific age group and explore areas such as your local wildlife, improvements to your local environment, environmental issues like recycling or climate change environmental citizenship; biodiversity; our local and natural heritage; regenerating parks and green spaces; recycling and fair trade.
If you can only spare a couple of hours or want to get involved in a longer project there are many different ways to get en:volved!
